The White House (click
here to view the White House website)
Public tours of the White House
are available for groups of 10 or more people. Requests
must be submitted through the Senator’s office and
require 6 months advanced notice. Please note that
even with 6 months notice, your tour is not guaranteed.
These self-guided tours are available from 7:30 a.m. to
12:30 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday (excluding federal holidays),
and are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis. We
encourage you to submit your request as early as possible
since a limited number of tours are available, especially
March through June. All White House tours are free of charge.
Please note that White House tours may be subject to last
minute cancellation, and may not be rescheduled.
A virtual tour of the White House is available
online and the Visitor's Center is located at the SE corner
of 15th and E Streets NW. Metro: McPherson Square.
I hope your visit to your capital
city is educational and enjoyable. Please feel free to contact
my office anytime by calling 202-224-6542
if you have any questions or concerns.
On September
4, 2009 President Obama announced that visitor access records
to the White House Complex will be made publicly available
90-120 days after the date of visit. This policy includes
all guests touring the White House. Please be aware that
your full name and the date of your visit will be part of
the publicly released records. Your date of birth, Social
