Chuck has made job creation and economic development in New York State a top priority throughout his career. He works side-by-side with local leaders across New York State to both retain and grow our existing companies and attract new employers to the State. From auto plants in Western New York to clothing in Rochester to defense contractors in Syracuse to microchips in the Capital District, Chuck works tirelessly to rebuild bolster New York’s manufacturing. He knows that world-class infrastructure is essential to economic growth and he has brought home billions of dollars to construct and maintain roads, bridges, tunnels, mass transit, sewers and more.

Chuck is a firm believer that growing New York’s innovation economy is critical to our long-term economic strength, which is why he has helped bring federal dollars to New York’s universities to support cutting-edge, job-creating research. He also works to support the innovative high-tech start-ups in New York City-and-beyond.

On top of that, Chuck has worked to secure federal funding to support business incubators, entrepreneurial mentorship programs, and efforts to improve tech transfer throughout the state so that the leading high-tech and bio-tech companies of tomorrow can form and grow right here in New York.
