On August 8, 2008, Sen. Schumer toured the Adirondack Museum in Blue Mountain and saw many of the new exhibits and hands-on activities that have opened to the public this year. The museum, now in its 51st year of operation, focuses on the history of the Adirondacks and North Country region. After touring the facility, the Senator met with Hamilton County officials to discuss local issues.
