After Sandy, the jetty and navigational light were severely damaged, making it extremely dangerous for boaters and fishermen to navigate the inlet.  Prior to the storm, boaters complained the light there was too dim, and with no light there they are being left in the dark while navigating the inlet in dark or treacherous seas.</p>"}}
