Every year, Chuck commits to traveling to all62 counties in New York to meet with constituents.
On April 4th, 2012 Schumer visited Wigsten Farm in Pleasant Valley to urge the Economic Development Administration to provide funding to help HV Food and Beverage Cluster launch a venture at the Culinary Institute of America. The funding would help to provide a center where businesses and farms can come together to revitalize businesses, especially in the wake of the destructive storms last fall. The center would offer networking and business opportunities, access to new markets, consumers and creation of new business relationships. Schumer was joined by the Culinary Institute of America, Farm Owner, Paul Wigsten, County Executive Marc Molinaro, Assemblywoman DiDi Barrett and HVEDC President, Mike Oates.
