U.S. Senate Minority Leader Charles E. Schumer and U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand today announced $1,372,533 in federal funding to develop pedestrian-friendly infrastructure along the Cayuga Lake Waterfront in the City of Ithaca. These funds will be used to redesign a .85 mile stretch of Route 13 to better facilitate pedestrian and bikers usage, and to greatly reduce traffic.
